These are for Body Measurements (this is only a guide, not pattern measurements)

Notes about MBD Sizing Chart
We aim to fit clothing to the majority of the population however unfortunately there will be some people who will not fit into these sizes. We apologise if you are in this bracket, we are not judging anyone: in sizing smaller or larger than this table of sizes the body has different proportions making it very difficult to have patterns to fit properly.

Be sure to measure yourself accurately, there are many examples on google if you are not sure or need some pointers.

To get the best fit you will need to go by your largest measurement of your bust or hips, as this is the widest part of your body. For example: if your low hip measures 112cm and bust 102cm, you are best to choose UK/AU size 16.
There are many formulas for Bust Waist and Hip different sizes and this is our one!

We aim to cater for the average of these measurements, garments fit differently on different body shapes, even when wearing flats and heels.
If your measurement is in-between 2 sizes then opt for the larger size, one can always take something in but not always let something out!

This brand has been created to keep wastage to a minimum with regards to paper printing of patterns and fabric utilisation.

We endeavour to produce patterns with minimal paper usage in our layouts, while being accurate and easy to understand, we also try to use the least amount of paper.We have created our own layout pages and offer 2 types of printing formats (A4 and A0). Should you require an additional format please contact us and we can always try to help out.

The Fabric utilisation/metrages are created with one way and two way measurements, this is so we only buy what fabric we need. No more over consumption spending! No more massive piles of fabric in your sewing area, just use what we need!

Of course you will need to consider if you want your design longer or shorter than the designed garment, then add or subtract this into the metrage, as shown in the fabric layout diagrams.
